When Sofia began struggling to see clearly in 1st grade, glasses helped — but her myopia kept getting worse. Her family wanted a solution that could support not just her vision, but her confidence, independence, and active lifestyle. In this touching story, Sofia, her dad Lester, and Pediatric Optometrist Dr. Vicky Fischer share how MiSight® 1 day* became a turning point. Starting treatment at age 8 helped significantly slow her myopia progression, giving her the freedom to pursue dance, sports, art, and new academic challenges without glasses holding her back. Through emotional moments and heartfelt reflections, her family describes how MiSight® 1 day helped Sofia experience the world more clearly — and grow with confidence. *INDICATIONS AND BRIEF SAFETY INFORMATION for MiSight® 1 day soft contact lens: INDICATIONS: MiSight® 1 day (omafilcon A) Soft (Hydrophilic) Contact Lenses for Daily Wear are indicated for the correction of myopic ametropia and for slowing the progression of myopia in children with non-diseased eyes, who at the initiation of treatment are 8-12 years of age and have a refraction of -0.75 D to -4.00 D (spherical equivalent) with ≤ 0.75 diopters of astigmatism.
