New Lit Beaver Ep 77, The Great Debate, Oliver 1988

Beaver's son Oliver confirms in public how unintelligent he is when he's forced to lead Grant Avenue's school debate team at a competition after cheating to get a good score on a test to try to make his father proud, and Diane Brewster makes her fifth and final appearance as teacher Miss Canfield (it's not clear if she is still the principal as she was in a prior episodes), in this 77th episode of the Leave it to Beaver revival series that debuted Oct. 9, 1988. The Great Debate, a rare episode in which Kipp does not appear, is the second episode of the third and final season under the new title of The New Leave it to Beaver on Superstation TBS Network (fourth season overall) and featuring most of the original cast of Leave it to Beaver, including Jerry Mathers and Tony Dow - the first season of 26 commercial-free episodes when the series was called Still the Beaver was on The Disney Channel from November 1984 - December 1985.
