The Oricom tyre pressure monitoring system is available as a 4 or 6 sensor system, expandable to 10 sensors. Solar powered, wireless transmission, adjustable threshold values, real-time tyre pressure and tyre temperature monitoring, visual and audio alarms. The sensors are easy to fit and the replaceable sensor button batteries can last up to a 2 years. The only down side to this system is that the sensors have to be removed and refitted every time you need to lower and pump up the tyres. The other issue I have is that the monitor doesn't turn on until the vehicle is travelling at 15kmph or more. This system can detect a slow or fast air leak in a tyre which could save the tyre before it blows out.
