However, geoscientists have since discovered that the story of oxygen on Earth and its relationship with animals is more complex than we once thought. In this video, Dr. Rachel Phillips (@GEOGIRL) summarizes the findings of a new #Geology paper (linked above) that presents Tl isotope records from before and during Earth's massive Snowball Earth events that suggest oxygen levels were fluctuating dramatically at this time.
