But recent seasons haven’t been kind. Struggling offenses, roster turnover, and missed playoff runs have left the franchise in need of a complete rebuild. In Madden 26, it’s our mission to restore the Giants to their former glory — drafting future stars, making blockbuster trades, and bringing Lombardi Trophies back to New York. In Episode 01, Coach Barry Bearington and the New York Giants kick start their season with an NFC rivalry. In a welcome to the league manner, Coach Bearington's first game is against the Washington Commanders. A team with a lot of talent, old and young. But they will be a good test to see where the Giants are truly at. With many holes on the roster, Coach Bearington has done his best to patch them. And he hopes we don't take on too much water, with a tough stretch to open the season.
