In a more laid-back presentation, today we're exploring the frankly incompetent history of Blizzard when it comes to addressing the latency and sharding issues that have blighted Oceanic servers since the start of Battle for Azeroth. This is almost certainly due to their sharding technology, which is attempting to cram far too many players into one instance and therefore ruining the experience for everyone. Most telling is that the same thread in the forums that was started to report the problems with lag and looting latency (up to and over 2000ms) during peak times is still there, on the first page, and continues to get bigger as Shadowlands Oceanic players are now experiencing the exact same problems they did more than two years ago. It's disgraceful, and it needs to be fixed.
