You will be surprised at how easy it is to create a beautiful mural of a galaxy for your ceiling. My son has been feeling down and needed a daily reminder that he is loved. So, one weekend, I decided to bust out this project. Step one: Paint ceiling black (took me about 90 min.) Step two: Intermix spray paint colors (purple, pink, blue) in a cloud-type pattern (took me about 15-20 min) Step three: Water down some white acrylic paint and splatter it in star patterns with a paint brush (took me about 15-20 min) Step four: Use glow in the dark paint to spay glow patterns of the clouds on the ceiling so it can glow at night as well. Warning: Make sure you wear a mask and paint in a well ventilated areal. I had two windows open and a fan blowing the whole time. I kept the bedroom door closed to make sure I didn't stink up the whole house. I also didn't let my son sleep in his bedroom that night just to be sure the fumes were cleared.
