Gathering material for this video made me tear up more than once, let me tell you that. I made a folder with videos from Poppy and just in the first year of having her, there were 1400 items!! Wow. Safe to say, not all of them made it into this short video! If you ever have specific questions about her life stages or anything else, just let me know in the comments. I am very happy to help out if needed and tell you about our experience! It might seem like I was not happy with Poppy during her puppy stage and I must admit, looking back I don’t know how we managed. But, as Michael Scott once said, somehow I manage! If we ever get another dog and not take a rescue, I will do many things differently.. But we did the best we could with what we had and knew! I was talking with Vitor a lot these days during editing about when the switch happened. When did we go from 'demon stage and reign of chaos' to 'sleepy bean and chill city'? When did this annoyance become admiration? When did we start to enjoy all the change she brought to our life? I don’t know.. I think as soon as the bathroom situation was better under control, a lot of tension left us. And then it just gradually changed and got better with each week. She developed her character and in a way we all changed to get along and now we are all just silly, cuddly beans who enjoy each other's company and drive each other crazy from time to time. I really hope you enjoyed watching this compilation of 2 years of Poppy as much as I enjoyed editing it! I could make 100 more of those videos and would not have to repeat a single frame haha As always, thank you so much for watching (and reading)!
