Our first time in Paris did not go as expected... 😬

We're in Paris for the first time and it did not go as expected. We had to change our plans due to unexpected circumstances, but first we check into our hotel, which has a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower, go down to the Trocadéro Gardens to take in the Eiffel Tower light show, try ourselves some French street food (mmm crepes), and grab a bottle of champagne to enjoy on the rooftop terrace of our hotel. The next day, we had an unexpected change of plans and had to create an improvisational day exploring the city in different ways than we originally planned. Our trip to Paris was short, but we still had an enjoyable experience and are looking forward to returning and seeing more of what we missed. Hopefully the next visit will go a little smoother...
