P. D. "Danny" Newman is author of Alchemically Stoned: The Psychedelic Secret of Freemasonry, Angels in Vermilion: The Philosopher's Stone from Dee to DMT, and Theurgy: Theory and Practice – The Mysteries of the Ascent to the Divine. Here he describes the many remarkable Mounds built by the Native American Mississippian Cultures, approximately a thousand years ago. These mounds were for purposes of burial, and also for preserving the cultural myths concerning the afterlife. Archeologists have uncovered many beautiful artifacts attesting to the skill and craftsmanship of these cultures. Newman describes the journey of souls.
