Shocking! Tamiya Motor Upgrade Test, Sport Tuned, Torque Tuned, Cup Machine in a TT-02!

If you have a Tamiya RC with a stock silver can brushed electric motor, you may be interested in upgrading to give a little speed increase. The basic hop-ups available from Tamiya for use with the stock ESC's is the Torque Tuned Motor (about £12 GBP) and Sport Tuned motor (about £25 GBP). But there is also available another motor from Tamiya Germany, the Carson Cup Machine (about £12 GBP). We put them through their paces in a stock Tamiya TT-02 chassis and compare their performance, top speed and acceleration, to the stock Tamiya silver can motor. The results of one of the motors is truly SHOCKING!! ...and could help to save you wasting your money!
