#Nicosia #Troodos #limassol We joined a local tour to Nicosia to visit the area occupied by Turkey since 1974. The area is now designated as a buffer zone by the UN. Passport is needed to enter to the area. One can see the difference in properity of the two areas. We spent about 45 minutes there and then set off to Troodos region to see a church which is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Weather was not good and we had to walk in the rain most of the time. The last stop was Limassol where we visited the Old Town and the Harbour area. The tour started at 8:30 and ended at around 17:30. We had kebab dinner that night back in Larnaca, which was full and delicious. Enjoy.
