Welcome to the 2025 NSTA Annual Meeting! Science educators from far and wide are flocking to Philadelphia this week. At every NSTA meeting, there’s only one place to catch meeting highlights and vibrant discussions on hot topics in science education – and that’s NSTA TV. We’re here to showcase the latest in science education from right here on the conference floor and from all the way across the country. Let’s see what’s coming up this week. We’ll kick things off with keynote speaker and 2-time Teacher of the Year Award Winner Daryl Williams Jr. as he urges you to unlock your 1% amazing. Plus, we kick off our NSTA TV sponsored film series with 3 different stops at STEM programs inspiring curiosity and driving innovation. We will visit STEM Strong at the University of North Dakota, the University of West Alabama Black Belt STEM Institute, and the Iowa Department of Education STEM Best program. We’ll focus on all things AI – and visit the programs focused on AI and machine learning as we profile the Inquiry Intelligent Tutoring System at Rutgers and wrap up at the University of Washington Ambitious Science Teaching Group. We’ll also look to the future of the field. We have a must see sit down with NASA Astronaut Ricky Arnold about his journey from the classroom to the cosmos. We take a trip to the Monmouth University Climate Change Learning Collaborative where they are preparing students for the problems they will face in adulthood. And we head to Hawaii for a visit to the Kumuola Marine Science Education Center as we finish out NSTA TV’s film series. Straight from the Pennsylvania Convention Center, we’re here all week to make sure you don’t miss a thing.
