When you save, your money sits in a bank account with little growth, safe but slow. Investing, on the other hand, means buying assets that can grow much faster. Few types of investment assets: 1. Stocks Owning stocks means you have a share in a company's ownership. You can make money from stocks in two ways: Dividends: Some companies pay out part of their earnings to shareholders as dividends, usually quarterly. The amount you receive depends on how many shares you own. Capital Gains: This is when you sell your stock for more than you paid for it. 2. Bonds Bonds are loans you give to a company or government. In return, they agree to pay back the principal amount on a set date, plus regular interest payments, known as coupon payments. Bonds can be sold before their maturity date, potentially at a profit if their market value has risen. 3. Funds (Mutual Funds and ETFs) Mutual Funds and ETFs allow investors to own a piece of many different investments, providing diversification without the need to buy each asset individually. ETFs are traded on stock exchanges and often have lower fees compared to Mutual Funds. 4. Real Estate Investing in property can offer income through rent or potential profit from selling at a higher price. However, real estate investments usually require significant upfront capital and are less liquid, meaning they can take longer to sell without losing value. 5. Commodities Commodities can fluctuate based on supply and demand, quality, and external factors like economic conditions. Commodities can serve as a hedge against inflation or economic uncertainty. 6. Cryptocurrencies Investing in cryptocurrencies carries a high risk and requires thorough research. — ❗️USEFUL LINKS❗️ ✅Full Interactive Brokers Playlist👇🏻 • Interactive Brokers Guide ✅Beginner's Step-By-Step Playlist to Start Investing 👇🏻 • Beginner's Guide to Investing ✅Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) Playlist 👇🏻 • Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) ✅🎥All the gears that I use to make my YouTube videos: https://kit.co/Ziet/youtube-gears — SOCIAL MEDIA LINKS 🔵Facebook → / zietinvests 🟣Instagram → / ziet_invests 🐦Twitter → / zietinvests 🌐Website → https://www.ziet.co 💭Telegram → https://t.me/+fIOOXUQJjsVmNmY1 🏠Discord → / discord beginner guide to investing in stocks capital gains in stock investments how to earn from bond coupon payments low fee exchange traded funds (ETFs) property investment tips for Malaysian market risks of investing in real estate gold as a safe haven investment how to preserve capital with bonds real estate investment strategies for high ROI ETFs vs Mutual funds #InvestingBasics #investing101 #investing #StockMarketTips #DividendIncome #CapitalGains #BondInvesting #ETFsExplained #RealEstateInvestment #CommodityTrading #CryptoGuide #FinancialFreedom #InvestSmart #BeginnerInvestor #PortfolioDiversification #HighROIInvestments #InvestmentStrategies — Disclaimer: This content is provided by a paid Influencer of Interactive Brokers.
