Russia, Ukraine, and the Future of NATO?

Join Watson School Dean John Friedman for a webinar discussion with Ambassador Christopher Hill. They’ll cover the war in Ukraine and its implications for the future of NATO. Ambassador Christopher R. Hill is a distinguished American diplomat and former U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, South Korea, Poland, Macedonia, and most recently Serbia. Over the course of his career in the U.S. Foreign Service, he also served as Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs and was the chief U.S. negotiator in the Six-Party Talks aimed at resolving the North Korean nuclear crisis. Hill played key roles in peace negotiations in the Balkans, including the Dayton Peace Accords, and held senior positions at the State Department and the White House. Following his diplomatic service, he became Dean of the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver, where he continues to teach and write widely on international relations and U.S. foreign policy.
