What is SQL (Structured Query Language)? Why is it Important?

SQL is what makes it possible to access the data stored in digital file cabinets -- or databases. Structured Query Language is a programming language that also has a job to do; watch to learn what it does. Company data used to be stored in file cabinets in offices -- and while that still works for some small businesses, large enterprises have far, far too much data.
