Grape Seed Oil for Acne: does it work?

What if I use grape seed oil for acne? Does it work and how to use it? There are two ways you can use it: either in a form of supplements, or as oil added to your facial solutions. But unfortunately, there is no evidence that grapeseed oil can treat acne directly. It may reduce the appearance of acne though, because it is rich in linoleic acid. Some researches confirm that one of the acne causes is the low linoleic acid content in skin oil. So, if one uses that acid topically (in a solution), it may reduce the size of the open follicles by 25%. This benefit of grape seed oil is explained as follows: the low levels of linoleic acid make a favorable condition for more inflammation to occur, which means that your acne may become worse. Another possible benefit of the oil is that it heals skin, which is especially good in case of acne scars. So we can conclude that grape seed oil uses for acne may bring some positive results, but they are generally indirect. Still, you get some benefits for your oily skin, which is prone to acne. #acne #grapeseedoil #acnescars #oilyskin ------------------------------- In our channel "Agnistoka: you will find more interesting and useful videos on yoga, ayurveda, better health and self-development.
