After anchoring outside the marina to avoid high fees, we attempt to enter Cascais Marina at low tide… and unexpectedly run aground on a shifting sandbank. With missing buoys, shallow water, and nerves running high, the Harbor Master steps in to guide us safely through. Once docked, we explore beautiful Cascais, one of the most vibrant and elegant coastal towns near Lisbon—filled with history, beaches, colorful streets, and amazing food.
