Malacañan Palace 08 February 2013 President Benigno S. Aquino III held a meeting with the members of the Cabinet to discuss the Indicative Budget Levels for 2012 to 2016. Present in the meeting were Vice President Jejomar Binay, Budget Secretary Florencio Abad, Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima and all other Cabinet Secretaries. * * Imus City, Cavite 7 February 2013 President Benigno S. Aquino III keynoted the Alay sa Mamamayan event held at Maranatha Christian Academy in Imus City, province of Cavite. He said that this event is the government's way of giving back the support and trust that the Caviteños gave his administration, and to make sure that its efforts will not be wasted. The President then proudly enumerated some of the government's programs and projects in the province including the Bangkal-GMA Bridge in Dasmariñas City, the extended Governor's Drive in the city of Trece Martirez, the Daang Hari-SLEX Link Road that will connect Bacoor City and SLEX, and the construction of LRT Line 1 Cavite Extension. The Alay sa Mamamayan project aims to ensure the attainment of sustainable development effort in addressing poverty reduction, food security, education, health and livelihood of Caviteños.
