BJP Workers Attack Bengal Congress Office in Kolkata; 6 Arrested Political tensions soared in Kolkata as a group of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supporters allegedly attacked the West Bengal Congress headquarters, Bidhan Bhawan. The incident, which took place today, reportedly involved around 50 BJP supporters protesting a recent statement made by a Congress member against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The attackers allegedly ransacked the office, tore down posters, and smeared black ink on images of Congress leaders.
