Photographer Colin Hodson, 34, from Hampshire, explored the bunker with his girlfriend Tilly and best friend Lee on October 10, after they’d read up about it online. Active in 1930, the underground bunker based in Portsdown Hill, Portsmouth, can hold up to 180,000 tons of oil in nine 35ft storage tanks.
