In this episode of Profiles of L.O.V.E., meet Dr. Edwin J. Nichols. Edwin J. Nichols, Ph.D., is the Director of Nichols and Associates, Inc. (N& A) an applied behavioral science firm, affecting technology transfer to organizations, based on principles of philosophy, basic and behavioral science. Dr. Nichols developed, “The Philosophical Aspects of Cultural Difference,” which articulates the essence of ethnic difference from the philosophical disciplines of Axiology, Epistemology, and Logic. N&A makes assessments and evaluations of corporate structures, systems, staff, and management. The alignment of these forces affects Systemic Congruence in organizational structure. Cultural Competence in Leadership fully utilizes their multiethnic, pluralistic, and linguistically diverse workforce. The 21st Century workforce is team orientated, which is the value added; it restores the competitive edge and increases the market share. In each of our Profiles of L.O.V.E. segments, we ask the same four categories of questions of our guests, from our L.O.V.E. Is The Answer acronym: LEARN What are some fun facts about you that might surprise people? Likes, dislikes, weird habits, fears, secret superpower, etc. OPEN What’s the most challenging thing you’ve ever experienced? How did you deal with it? What have you learned from that experience? VOLUNTEER How do you exercise social responsibility (how you give back) and why? EMPOWER If you knew this was your last day on earth, and Lester Holt from NBC news invited you to share one last message with the world to inspire people to “be good to yourself and others,” what would you say? Post your own Profile of L.O.V.E.! Make a video of yourself using the questions above as your script. After you complete your video, post it online on YouTube first (for easier sharing), and then use that YouTube link to post it elsewhere (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Thread, etc.) using hashtag #trylovenow along with this script asking others to post their videos.
