Launch and Ceremonial Turnover of the World Bank Group Philippines Country Partnership Framework for Fiscal Years 2025-2031 Kalayaan Hall, Malacañan Palace July 29, 2025 President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. leads the launch and ceremonial turnover of the World Bank Group Philippines Country Partnership Framework (CPF) for Fiscal Years 2026-2031 at the Kalayaan Hall in Malacañan Palace on July 29, 2025. The CPF outlines the strategic approach guiding the World Bank Group’s engagement in the Philippines, prioritizing investments in health and education, private sector jobs, digitization, and economic and social resilience. This Framework aligns with the Philippines’ development goals by ensuring that support is tailored to the most pressing needs and priorities. It aims to improve the quality of life for all Filipinos by strengthening their capabilities and providing better opportunities, while also minimizing volatility caused by shocks. Additionally, it contributes to the realization of the World Bank Group’s vision and mission identified in the Evolution Roadmap. The Philippines program specifically aims to contribute to eight (8) of the 15 targeted outcome areas: protection for the poorest; no learning poverty; healthier lives; green and blue planet with resilient populations; digital connectivity; more and better jobs; and more private investment. Furthermore, the program also addresses several global challenges outlined in the Roadmap, including climate change adaptation, energy access, and enabling digitalization. * * Connect with RTVM Website: http://rtvm.gov.ph Facebook: www.facebook.com/presidentialcom and www.facebook.com/rtvmalacanang YouTube: @RTVMalacanang Tiktok: @RTVMalacanang
