It has a vertically shooting 1/4-20 mounting point (or you can use it to attach an accessory to the side of the camera), as well as a cold shoe mount on the top of the camera. The package also includes an action cam to 1/4-20 socket adapter, so you can mount the camera horizontally on a 1/4-20 tripod or selfiestick. The cage cutouts allow you to access the power on/off button, the USB port door (with enough room you can remove the door and add a USB to 1/8" mic adapter) and use the bottom magnetic attachment point. There is a passthrough button to activate the top red shutter button. It snaps open relatively easily when you depress the catch, and locks the camera in place when you close it. The fit was perfect for my DJI Action 5 Pro camera (It should also fit the Action 4 and Action 3 cameras which I believe have the same shape.)
