Ever since I saw the movie eat, pray love, I had a vision of one day, making it to Bali. I was fortunate enough to finally make it there in November 2024 on my honeymoon. Of course, I watched the movie on the plane ride over and cried like a baby. The trip that emerged over the course of nearly a week there deeply touched my soul and has sat with me in my heart since that time. Bali is incredibly unique and special. I found the culture, nature, and the people all so warm and inviting. If you have the chance to go, I highly recommend it. And don’t be afraid to ride the scooters. If you’ve never ridden one, take a lesson so that you can truly feel the magical energy of the island.  I almost let the fear of riding a scooter prevent me from experiencing one of the highlights of my time there.
