Here is my playthrough of the first major boss of P5R: Reimagined 2, Matador! The strategy here is pretty simple; knock Matador down with Explosion and Baton Pass to Ryuji to do massive damage with Machine Gun. These skills are very overtuned for the time that you obtain them, so they make this fight and most others far easier. Ryuji in general is the best party member here, due to him resisting both Physical and Wind, which are the Matador's two main affinities. The Persona I'd recommend for this battle is definitely Konohana Sakuya, due to it having both Explosion and Fire Boost, along with draining Wind. I got pretty luck here all things considered, since Matador didn't get any 1-Mores to use Beast Eye, which can make this fight much harder. The main threat in this battle is Rampage, but Matador telegraphs it the turn prior by using Charge, so just use any item which grants Tetrakarn on Joker and sacrifice anyone else. You can probably survive it by switching to any Persona which resists Physical, too, but simply applying Tetrakarn is much more effective and means you can get an extra Baton Pass to Ryuji so the fight doesn't drag on. Overall, this fight was pretty fun! Persona 5 Reimagined 2 is a mod which aims to add more content and completely change the balancing of P5R.
