In this episode, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Yehyawi, a well-known Ethiopian TikToker who has captured the hearts of many with his inspiring content. Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, Yehyawi moved to Ethiopia five years ago, bringing with him a rich background in Islamic education. He has memorized 25 Juz of the Quran and now runs an online learning center called Iqra, where he teaches Quran and Islamic studies to students worldwide. One of the biggest challenges Yehyawi faced after moving to Ethiopia was learning Amharic. Since he wasn’t familiar with the language at first, adapting to life here was not easy. But through persistence and daily practice, he overcame the difficulties and now communicates much better.
