ECC Northern California Program Highlight: E-Contractor Academy

Since 2013, E-Contractor is a no-cost program building technical, financial and operational capacity with diverse, small and local construction businesses including MWVDBE contractors. We prepare our contractor partners for successful business in public works and climate-critical fields like building electrification and performance. Contractors complete our industry-leading (free!) E-Contractor Academy, the most comprehensive residential electrification and business capacity building training currently available in the region. Graduates join the E-Contractor Network, get connected to project opportunities and curated resources. In the Fall of 2025, we had the pleasure of holding our latest 6-week E-Contractor Academy in Concord, California in partnership with PG&E, MCE and Plumbers and Steamfitters UA Local 342.
