Today’s episode in the card shop I look through the $1 boxes that are then $0.50 with the sale that my local card shop was putting on. One of the biggest things that I try to focus on is players and cards that people are interested in on the low end scale of sports cards. I grab big name rookies, parallels, eye appealing cards, stuff that not everyone would have in their collection. I EVEN happened to find a case hit SSP parallel of skill position rookie player from a top NFL team from 2017… maybe it’ll be the chase of the product 😅 I think the biggest thing about selling sports cards on whatnot is just the sheer and utter volume you can do and run through in a given week. I sell about 300-400 cards each and every week on whatnot so for me stacking up on inventory whenever possible is the absolute best thing for me to do. A purchase like this helps me make my better and more sought after inventory last longer and longer! I usually grab so many cards literally as many that make sense to me, I’m so excited to set up at my first ever local card show in order to liquidate some of my inventory hopefully. My local card shop was having a sale that they do on their dollar bins and each time they have the sale I try to go in and pick out as many cards as I possibly can. This is me going through 2 boxes during their end of July sale. Usually they have one during Black Friday also so that will probably be the next time that I’ll be able to hunt for the deals via this promotion :) I’ll definitely be trying to go through and get as many as I can. The best time to do something is now, if I wasn’t buying for the reason’s I was buying I would be a LOT more selective in my searches, but maybe one day I can make videos just about hunting for actual collecting instead of a mixture of both hunting for inventory to resale and items to keep.
