Every spring, I love to explore the Southern Gulf Islands for a day or overnight adventure. Even though some of the islands are only a short ferry ride from Victoria, going there feels like stepping into another world. The islands are very rural, there isn't many people, and the pace is slow and relaxed. A trip to the islands always leaves me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
