Concepts of Geology is the online platform to gain and share the knowledge of Geology. Geology is the subject where we study the earth from different aspects. The subject will be covered in a sequence of comprehensive classes. At the beginning Economic geology is chosen because this will be interesting for all, from a beginner to a professional. In the last class we had decided to cover up the branch in three parts. The first part was the Principles of economic geology, which was framed to be familiar with the terminologies and principles of the subject. Further the the part was divided into four modules and this is the second class of Module-01. What were scheduled to be covered in Module-01: Module-1: Introduction • Economic Geology vs. Ore geology • Definition of Industrial minerals, ore & gangue • The factors which make an ore resource potential for mining The first two bullets has already been covered in the last class. In this class we will learn about grade of ores, one the factors which makes an ore resource profitable for exploitation. Rest factors will be taken up in next classes.
