What's zorbing??? Invented in 1997, zorbing is downhill ball rolling in a giant inflatable sphere! Prepare to get wet! Superman dive into your giant inflatable zorb ball, and get ready for the fun to begin. There's about 1 liter of water in the ball to keep you cool and make sure you don't stick to the sides of the ball. It doesn't sound like a lot, but you're going to get VERY wet! After some last-minute instructions, your sealed inside. Thumbs-up means start running forward - if you make it more than 2 steps your already an expert! Now just ride the track down to the bottom! Once you exit at the bottom of the hill you can relax in the hot tubs before taking the shuttle back up to the summit for your next exhilarating ride! We visited the World’s First Downhill Ball rolling park, where it all started in Rotorua, New Zealand. The original 17 acre ball rolling site was called "OGO Rotorua" until 2019 when OGO purchased back the ZORB brand name. ZORB Rotorua has 4 tracks to choose from: 1. MEGA - at 300 metres long, it's the steepest, fastest and craziest track in the world, providing epic views of Lake Rotorua and Mokoia Island from the summit. 2. SIDEWINDER - at 350 metres long, it's the longest track in the world with 6 huge twists and turns on your way down. 3. BIG AIR - 300 metres long with 3 epic drops while swinging around sweeping bends. 4. DUAL STRAIGHT - 250 metre long, smooth, fast track designed for you to race your friends or family while trying to stay upright. Changerooms are provided on-site, and t-shirts/shorts/towel rentals are available if you forgot yours or only brought a bikini top (it has 0% chance of staying on!). They've also got a staff photographer and will rent you a Go-Pro if you don't have your own so you can take epic videos like these from inside your ZORB!
