This video demonstrates how Sean plays a G minor arpeggio (0:28) found within the bridge section of the song 'Lion's Roar' by Cynic. Sean indicated that in order to play this arpeggio in a smooth manner one is required to play the final note (G) of the arpeggio with the open string. This video was provided to demonstrate this. Sean also inserted fret numbers on the sheet music to specify where this should be played on the fretboard. Sean stated: "The 'secret', if there is one, is that the last note of the run (G) is played as on open string. This lets you get your hand down to the D on the A-string. I originally wrote the part ending on Bb (which I think sounds better), but it was too awkward getting back down to the D from there so I opted for the open G. Attached is a video with the bridge from this song." Hope this helps anyone who has tried to learn this song and has had trouble figuring out this particular line.
