Renowned as the highest-ranking and sole active Korindo Aikido instructor in the United States, Goss's journey in martial arts began in 1968 with Hanbo-jutsu, a traditional Okinawan weapon art. His training in Hanbo-jutsu evolved through Okinawan Karate Kobu-jutsu, and later, in 1974, he delved into a distinct system of Hanbo-jutsu as part of Korindo Aikido's weapon curriculum.
