In today's episode on Tales Extra we Have Jane Kamau, a mother of one, had endured a lot while still young. She decided to get married, but later on, her husband abandoned her, leaving her with one child. Coming from a humble background, she began searching for a job to support herself and her family’s daily needs. One day, a friend introduced her to an agency that provided various jobs abroad. She came across one job she was interested in, applied for it, and was successfully hired. She processed her documents and was flown out to Saudi Arabia. Upon arriving, she discovered that the job she had been hired for had been changed. She realized it wasn’t what she had applied for. The job was distressing for her, and the man in charge wanted her to become the wife of the house. The payments were too low, and the man had many children, as his wife had passed away. Jane was expected to take care of all the children, which was overwhelming compared to the terms of the job she had been promised. It became clear that the agency had provided false information about the job. Desperate, Jane sought a way to escape the household because the man was too hostile. Eventually, she managed to flee, but she was arrested by the police and deported back to Kenya. Currently, she is in her home village in Kenya, going through many challenges and in need of help.
