I have been holding off on posting this clip, hoping someone would send me one without the noises coming from a few audience members. However the other 3, that were sent to me were so poor in quality, it is almost impossible to hear or see the Annie (actually none of the other actors are seen and barely heard) I believe 2 clips were with Madison Kerth as Annie and the 3rd - good grief...it wasn't Amanda, Madison or Marrisa. It was the same Daddy Warbucks but the Annie was just not visible and the sound system and her voice just not right. So here is the 2nd last clip requested. if you can ignore the bloke, stricken with tuberculosis, consumption, pneumonia or bad bronchitis who occassionally hacks up a lung, the wailing newborn, the gum popping vs camera bashing interference and the woman who sounds like she's having an allergy attack (letting out a succession of sneezes,) then you will like the clip. Honestly its not that bad at all (other than the cough x 4). I always exaggerate about that kind of stuff . The quality is good and the actors phenomenal. Here is the little addendum that came along with the clip. "Balon in the star role as "Annie" and Barton as "Daddy Warbucks" are brilliant together. It is evident that both actors are vocally and artistically gifted. Alone they bring their characters to life; each playing their roles with heart-tugging conviction and candor. Together they share a powerful chemistry. They are so believable in their roles it makes one wonder if they are father and daughter in real life. 11 year old Amanda is comfortable on a stage, yet always poised, appropriate and never breaks character. Not only is her comedic timing splendid but she has such intrinsic artistic depth allowing her to fluctuate between emotions quickly and easily, within a single scene. Indeed a rare ability in someone so young. The supporting cast, too, is outstanding. Leamings voice is lovely as is she, in the role of Grace Farrell, Warbucks loyal ever-efficient secretary. The house was packed. Balon and her cast received a much deserved standing ovation. My one wish was for the show to run for at least one more day so that I could bring my boss and his family to see this unforgettable production. ***** 5/5 stars.
