Fossil Hunt DEC 16, 2016: Hunting on the Potomac

Every year around Christmas time I try to squeeze in a fossil hunt or two at the Potomac River while visiting my husbands family in Northern Virginia. I try to plan that hunt with my buddies Kelly and John. Kelly couldn't make it this year unfortunately, but I did get to go with John, his dad, and his dad's friend. As a special treat, we got to Fossil Hunt on private property (with permission from the land owners of course). It was a cold (17ºF) Friday morning with a nice low tide. Between the 4 of us, we found some great stuff including some artifacts! Check it out!
