In the Spring of 1941, Hitlers super-battleship Bismarck struck fear across Britain when it snuck into the Atlantic and catastrophically sank the Royal Navy’s flagship HMS Hood in minutes. With nothing to stop her, Bismarck now had free rein to destroy British supply ships and starve the island into submission. In desperation, Britain sent 16 warships to find and destroy Bismarck.
