YouTube- / @ranachoir661 For more information on this particular TEDx event, see http://www.tedxjaffa.com" Rana Choir is an Arab - Jewish Women's Choir that was founded in 2008 by Mika Danny and Idan Toledana. Rana is comprised of Muslim, Christian and Jewish women from Jaffa. As the only Arab-Jewish women’s choir in Israel, it serves as a unique example of the potential of shared social and creative life. Rana operates from the belief in the power of song to foster intercultural dialogue and form deep human relationships. Furthermore, Rana is based on the belief that the empowerment of women’s voices in the public sphere will both enrich Israel’s cultural scene, and increase the public’s faith in the possibility of peace and a multicultural, shared society in the Middle East. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
