Is it finally possible to print PEEK on a consumer grade machine? The company behind this printer is trying to make it happen. It's the Elyarchi Alcheman, and it's launching on Kickstarter soon with a starting price of just $699. If you're not familiar, PEEK is a super polymer with incredible strength, chemical resistance and low flammability. It requires very high nozzle temperatures and chamber temperatures in order to print, so until now it has required an expensive industrial printer. With a 450C nozzle, 130C bed and 90C chamber, the Alcheman seeks to change that. In this video I take a closer look at this printer to see if it lives up to the claims.
