Product Overview: Super Alloy 1 contains cadmium and melts at approximately 350°F, allowing quick heating—especially on thin metals. The solder comes in rod form, making seam running easier than with traditional wire or paste solder. Apply the flux to cold metal or after heating with a butane torch or heat gun; the flux promotes adhesion, seals pressurized systems, and changes color to indicate ideal soldering temperature. After soldering, rinse the joint with warm water to remove flux residue. For a hidden solder seam, apply flux and solder on one piece, heat, then add a bit more solder and flux to the other part, and heat again until the flux turns brown.
