NEW Dan the Man Chicken God Event - Shadowy Descent (damageless, all secrets)

hi gamers this level is kind of cool. odd that in a level called shadowy descent you are mostly ascending if you ignore the initial drop. overall I think it's well designed and I really quite like the fights where you break the objects where the elevator music plays but I am crying and weeping that one of the secret areas wasn't just you being able to backtrack and get all the coins. anyway obviously impossible to get all the coins when all those ones are blocked off. sad! still a very fun level though. when I played through the level the first time around I got the secret item totally by accident which is great because it meant I didn't have to go hunt it down or something. the secret areas feel better than the previous levels, sa4 stands out since you are kind of primed to know what to do and it's pretty cool. sa3 is also cool (though to a lesser extent) since the vase right up against the wall tells you that the wall is fake, which is slightly better indication than just having there be a visible room on the other side of the wall. the other 2 secret areas are meh. really do like the key gimmick though, its use in these is fun. shoutout my sister ‪@Flamemorph‬ for thumbnail assistance. by the time I asked her to remove the ui (literally a minute after sending her the screenshot) she was like oops the ui was actually the first thing I edited and so you're stuck with it now. good thumbnail though. do you like how I'm simultaneously peter griffin and also a huge brained nerd. by the way that guy jumping into the electricity doesn't happen in the vid sorry to clickbait. there was one time when I went through and the guy survived by standing still right next to the zapper which is why I was able to take that screenshot. I was initially intending to just stand there a bit but he actually jumped at me and killed himself so that's interesting I guess. okay enjoy the video. btw did you know there's a new halfbrick server I'm a mod in there wow you should join it   / discord
