It's not pitch shifted. Got a spare 9-65 8 string set laying around, so tossed away the 9 and 11. So yes, it's a 65 tuned to F# on a 22.2" guitar - what could go wrong? I've imagined it would be a lot worse after some past experiences (which you can check out on my channel), but ended up pretty good now that I know a little more what the frick I'm doing. Might even tune it down to double Drop D#, which was the limit last time I checked. Who knows? This song was created like 6 or 7 years ago, with a more melodic approach.
