Mardi Himal Trek Nepal | Complete Guide, Route, & Stunning Views 2026 Discover the breathtaking Mardi Himal Trek in Nepal, one of the most beautiful short treks in the Annapurna region. In this video, I share my full trekking experience, stunning mountain views, and the trail leading to Mardi Himal Base Camp through Mardi Himal view point. The Mardi Himal Trek is perfect for trekkers who want an incredible Himalayan adventure in a short time. Starting from Kande, the trail passes through lush rhododendron forests, ridge trails, and offers panoramic views of Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli. This trek was done with my wife and two sister. This is one of the short easy and best trek and recommended for the family trip if you like to trek and Himalayas. Trek Information: Duration: 4–6 days Trek Starting Point: Kande Trek Ending Point: Seeding Max Altitude: 4,500m (Mardi Himal Base Camp) Difficulty: Moderate Our Itinerary: Day 1: Kathmandu to Pokhara We started normal morning at Kathmandu and started for the Pokhara. Enjoying views and road we reached Pokhara. It is just 200 KM but it took us around 6.5 hrs, we stoped for lunch at Muglin and multiple places for the coffee so it took us more than 6 hours. We checkedin Hotel Fewa Point lake side street number 14. Enjoyed Pokhara walking around with team. It was nice stay at pokhara. Day 2: Pokhara to Forest Camp After breakfast at hotel we started for the Kande from where trek starts. One of our brother managed driver to drop us Kande and back car Pokhara. Enjyoing Hamja and road we reached Kande. With some stretching at kande we started our trek and after 1.5 hours we reached Australian Basecamp. Awesome view of the mountains from ABC. After around a hour we reached Pothana. Some pitures at Pothana and headed to Pitam deurali. After around 1.5 hrs normal trek we reached Pitam deurali and had a Lunch. After lunch at around 3 hours we reached the Forest Camp and we ended our trek there. Day 3: Forest Camp to High Camp Forest camp was silence because of offseason this time we dont see many people and crowd here. After breakfast we headed forward. After Half hour we reached the rest Camp, some pictures at rest camp. After two hour of jungle trek reached the Low Camp. Low camp also one of the best and important camp for the route. We take some tea here and moved forward for the Badal Danda. Badal Danda was amazing, we can see beautiful views from here. We had a lunch here and headed for high camp. After two hour we reached the High Camp and ended days here. Day 4: High Camp to Pokhara This day is our major day. Early 3 am we wake up and headed for the view point after 2 hours of trek View Point. It was the main spot that we waited and struggled. Nice sunrise, nice views. It was great unforgettable. We captures many videos and images here and left view point. At around 1 hours we reached high camp. After breakfast here we left high camp for Pokhara. we trek 5 hours to seeding and reached Pokhara via jeep from Seeding. Day 5: Pokhara to Kathmandu Normal return to KTM via Bandipur at 6 hours normal drive. This itinerary we did as per our timing and traveller's trekking status you can make it as per your time and everything. We did it at February of 2026. We recommend to do this trek at Spring season for best views and Rhododendron which is national flower of Nepal. Jungle and most of the route is cover with flower. If you are planning a trekking adventure in Nepal, the Mardi Himal Trek is one of the best hidden gems in the Himalayas. Packing list for the the trek is very important not only for the mardi himal trek. Here is my recommended package list which i carry for every trek: My Packing List: 1.
