On Tuesday the 20th of March 2018, a Luas 402 type tram, number 5024 failed on Marlborough Street. Tram 5005 was the first tram behind 5024. 5005 was operating a Broombridge to Sandyford service and was held at Parnell due to a fault developing on 5024. After a number of minutes, 5005 proceded to travel onto Marlborough Street and stoped behind 5024. When 5024 was declared a failure, 5005 moved forward to allow passengers disembark from the tram from the front door which was on the platform. 5005 is then connected to 5024. The double length Luas is then filmed at the Rosie Hackett Bridge and College Green. The Luas is a light rail tram network serving Dublin, Ireland. It has two lines. The Green line is featured in this video and operates from Broombridge to Brides Glenn via the Luas Cross City line in city centre. Date: 20 March 2018 I hope you enjoy this European Rail HD video!
