Romania’s Foreign Minister Oana Țoiu joins Adam Jasser in the latest episode of On the Record to discuss the geopolitical shockwaves after Khamenei’s death and the U.S. attack on Iran. She argues the developments in the Middle East show the United States has the capability to remove dictators – and that this should worry Vladimir Putin. Țoiu says the world would be in a better position if Putin no longer ruled Russia, especially as Iran can no longer support Moscow’s war in Ukraine as it has in the past. She also stresses the need to rebuild international rules and diplomatic dialogue.
