Rewinding and Splicing Avenue Jaunty-Along Spin

Normally, when I'm working on a project that will be chain plied, I like to use a bobbin large enough to fit the whole project. For this one, though, I wanted to use Dove so it was easily portable. I left the end of the first bobbin and the beginning of the second bobbin unspun to be able to spin draft to join them together. This was achieved by rewinding the singles onto a Magpie Standard bobbin. This recording is at 6 times speed, except for a portion of the video around the joining process. The whole process of rewinding took me about an hour. Avenue on Merino/Mulberry Silk 60/40 dyed by Inglenook Fibers Spun on Dove Rewound and spin spliced using Magpie.
