It was such a great project because it involved so many different groups, including volunteer students, design professors, maintenance crews, and historians. I'm grateful that I was in school at the time and had this opportunity to work on a project in my own backyard and see it evolve in such a short time. Everyone contributed to all phases of the project, from the design to installation and maintenance of the garden, and I feel this process was truly what collaboration is really all about.
