pressed "Start Battery Heating" button in stationary car, battery was relatively warm (16.1°C - 17.6°C). Battery preheating took 19 minutes (exactly as predicted on the centre screen) and ended when Battery Minimum Temperature reached 23°C. 00:00 Intro 00:05 before-after 01:24 graphs (Data Recording) 02:11 idling in P 02:57 battery preheating 06:48 end of preheating 07:14 more screens PTC battery heater initially pulled 5 kW (13.5 amps), gradually dropped to 3 kW - 2 kW (circa 7 amps), then after 19 minutes to 0 kW (0 amps). Battery coolant pump was active during preheating. Enyaq 50 in video had no heatpump. Car was stationary in P, cabin heating was running at 20°C, I was sitting in the car during preconditioning. Ambient temperature 10.5 °C. I created custom sensor: PTC battery heater kW (PTC battery current x Battery Voltage). Preheating (+cabin heating) took almost 1 kWh (33825Wh - 33000Wh), or more because sensor "Energy Content of the Traction Battery" might show more Wh in warmer battery, not sure (it works this way in Stellantis EVs and Renault Scenic EV - see my other videos).
