39 Studebaker Sedan To Hot Rod Truck Conversion Roof Chop Pt 3: TIGing The Pieces Back Together

I complete the bulk if the work to get the roof back on to the 39 Studebaker Champion after the roof chop by the end of part 3. In this video I make and TIG weld patches onto the roof to close up the gaps that I created in Part 2. I am relatively new to TIG welding, but can see my welds improving as I complete each patch. I also modify the roof's A pillars so that their widths match up again and do a fair amount of planishing, and hammer and dollying to smooth out the weld joints. Also I start to think about building out the back wall of the truck cab and consider modifying the Studebaker's rear window into a split window common in cars of this era.
